This is a 24-lecture course (about one hour each) at Johns Hopkins that introduces the probabilistic foundations of learning theory. The main topics of the course are estimation and optimal control, with examples from the primate brain. The lectures cover the topics in Biological Learning and Control (Shadmehr and Mussa-Ivaldi, MIT Press, 2012).

This is a lecture that was given as a part of the Neuromatch Academy 2020 course. It covers topics of optimal foraging and marginal value theorem. The lecture introduces these topics and links them to vigor and economics of movement.
